Profile
I have started my sporting life when I was 10 years old, and between the ages of 15 and 28 I was involved with elite sports in Brazil, first with gymnastics and then for the last 13 years in athletics as a 100m and 200m sprinter.
I have been working with athlete’s development for more then 10 years in Brazil, and 7 years in New Zealand. During this time, I had the valued opportunity to work with many different athletes such as Hockey, Rugby, Netball, American Football- Running back and Wide receiver, Soccer (both on field and on court - Futsal), Basketball, Volleyball, Sprinters, Fighters, Surfers, and Tennis players; in many levels and ages.
I used to work for a large University Sports Club (Ulbra - Lutheran University of Brazil) as Athletic Performance Coach, and during this time, I have worked with high performance and college athletes, and with some of the best coaches from Brazil and other countries such as USA, Cuba, Jamaica and Russia. I also had the opportunity to learn a lot about many different schools of sports at high level - on track, on court and field.
Here in New Zealand, I have been working with high performance athletes, including athletes from Black Sticks team, Rugby (NZ Academic), Wellington Hockey and Basketball players.
I have also had the opportunity to experience and learn from my own family, with my father being a physical conditioner for Football for more then 30 years in Brazil. I could learn many skills with him, which only years of experience working with sport could learn.
Since 2006 I have been doing deep research and studying the USA school for speed and agility. I believe the USA school is the top 3 schools for develop speed and agility for athletes and players.
After all this years working with athletes, and doing scientific research I have developed a high level sports program for strength, speed and agility, something that really works, with solid foundation and information about all elements that come together in strength, speed and agility.
My training methods are unique. They have been developed in conjunction with several different styles of training – athletics, gymnastics, weightlifting, capoeira, natural fitness, boxing and jiu-jitsu. I am constantly updating and developing new programs.
I believe I can bring something new to your training, including improving anaerobic and aerobic capabilities, resistance for speed and strength, agility and flexibility. However, the most important aspect is to help you develop a new lifestyle where, with daily training, you can improve both as an athlete and a person.
